Tea ceremony is a space where we can slow down outside of the demanding pace of day-to-day life and settle into a quiet, grounded place inside ourselves, held by ritual and with the medicine of tea as our guide.
Tea is a gentle teacher who meets us exactly where we are, clearing a pathway to stillness, presence, remembrance and a sense of profound connection. The ancient ritual of Cha Dao, or "the way of tea", is about living life in harmony with nature and ceremonially unifies all the elements in a dance of water, fire, earth and space. The ceremony itself will be held in silence to mindfully tune into ourselves, our breath, our senses, and the wisdom of the tea — slowing our minds, opening our hearts, and enlivening our spirits with a deeper connection to self, nature and each other.
Each ceremony is unique and deeply moving. Limited to 9 to keep the intimate nature of the practice flowing.
